DOMMI SAAMU

   Dommi Saamu literally means street fighting exercises. It is a very rare traditional street  fighting art of India practiced widely in Telangana,Rayalaseema and borders of Tamilnadu.

   The art was developed during the freedom fighting movement to protect the villages for  foreign invaders

   Unlike its counter arts Karra Saamu and Kathi Saamu where they concentrate more on  rotating the weapons,Dommi Saamu completely concentrates on fighting with
 multiple opponents with different types of weapons like long sticks,short sticks (single and  double),swords,hunter sickles,axes,daggers,knuckle dusters(Vajra Mushti) and many more.
 It also emphasizes on unarmed combat tactics like Mushti Yudham (fist fighting) and
 Malla Yudham (Traditional Warfare Grappling) .

   Master Nischal is the only Master active in developing,teaching and promating this practical,  deadly and effective traditional martial art of India to the next generations.
